Empowering Local Leaders. Creating Lasting Change.
Join us in transforming communities through education, healthcare, and equality. Together, we can build a brighter future for Africa's next generation of leaders.
ABOUT US
The Meheba Care Center Project, supported by the Aaron and Virginia Fitt Foundation, is dedicated to transforming lives in the Meheba Refugee Settlement in Zambia, where refugees from Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Angola and other areas have been living, some for decades. Our mission focuses on education, healthcare, nutrition, and elder care, providing critical resources to those in need, and ensuring the community knows they have not been forgotten.
Our founder and Executive Director, Frank Mwema, is a member of the refugee community at Meheba Refugee Settlement, ensuring that this project is connected to the real needs of the community and is informed by the requests and desires of the community.
